Consignments:
- All military personnel (active, Reserve, Guard, retired) and their immediate
families, and civilian employees at McConnell AFB may consign property at the
Thrift Shop.
- Patrons may bring items to the Thrift Shop for sale on a consignment basis.
- The property owner sets the asking price.
- Merchandise is retained on the floor for up to 90 days. Consignors receive
payment from the Shop for 80% of the sales price.
- If items are not sold by the expiration date, the consignor may withdraw the
item, or leave it with the Thrift Shop to sell as a clearance item. The Thrift
Shop retains 100% of the proceeds from clearance sale items.
- Consignors may withdraw an item from the Shop at any time before the expiration
date. The withdrawal fee is $.25 per item for items priced $25.00 and below.
One percent of the sales price will be charged to withdraw Items priced over
$25.00.
- If a customer wishes to make an offer on an item for less than the marked
price, a volunteer may call with the offer for higher priced items that have
been on consignment for more than one month.
Donations:
Patrons may also make donations of property to the Thrift Shop. The Shop will
place these items for sale and retain 100% of the sale price. We are very appreciative
of all of our patrons who choose to make donations and allow us to contribute
the net proceeds for our charitable contributions!

Items That
We Can't Accept:
Due to space limitations, our experience with what will sell in the Shop, and
safety considerations, it's our policy not to accept the following items.
Car Seats
Bedding - mattresses, box springs, and pillows
Flammable materials - oils, paints, etc
Firearms and ammunition
Gasoline powered items, unless completely drained and cleaned
Adult nightgowns, undergarments, pajamas, swim suits, non-athletic adult shoes
Children's items over size 12: nightgowns, undergarments, pajamas, shoes
Tires - auto, van, truck
Foodstuffs
Vertical blinds, mini
Waterbeds
Sippy cups
Consignor's Agreement:
We require that consignors complete a written agreement for all items left in
